Bill Blaydes

City Councilman Bill Blaydes grew up in Dallas, Texas, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas Technological University. Blaydes has developed a successful commercial real estate consultancy and brokerage firm and is currently CEO/Chairman of the Board at Resource Advisory Services, Inc.

Councilman Blaydes is the chairman of the River of Trade Corridor Coalition (“ROTCC”) and the Dallas NAFTA Trade Corridor Coalition (“Dallas NAFTA”) and is the primary spokesperson for the projects at local, national and international conferences and business meetings. Blaydes has presented the Dallas NAFTA and ROTCC projects through multiple media outlets, published articles, and video presentations both locally and nationally.

Councilman Blaydes Chairs the Economic Development & Housing Committee and is a member of the Finance, Audit and Accountability and the Transportation and Environment Committees. Blaydes also serves on the Transportation Information Services Policy & Advocacy Committee for the National League of Cities, and represents Dallas on the Dallas Regional Mobility Coalition (DRMC) and Regional Transportation Council.

Bill has been married to his wife, Sara, for 39 years. They have 3 grown daughters, 3 son-in-laws and four grandchildren. He finds time during his busy career to enjoy fishing, golfing and traveling, and spending time with his family.
